I’d been thinking about buying Ada a quad bike for quite some time but had decided it wasn’t the perfect solution. Unable to find anything better, today Ada and I went into Colwyn Bay Honda and after a friendly chat with the helpful staff my feelings on the matter were made resolute. To drive a quad bike requires considerable core and upper-body strength and stamina, not something that Ada has at the moment. She seemed to have forgotten about her ailments though and loved the prospect of being mobile again:

Originally this project was just about getting Ada back outdoors again but having now set a goal of getting her to the top of Snowdon a quad bike just wouldn’t be up to the challenge, regardless of the physical requirements of the rider.
